3. Doctor Strange Name-Drop (Captain America: The Winter Soldier)
In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, when S.H.I.E.L.D./HYDRA agent Jasper Sitwell was telling Captain America about HYDRAs many targets, as they set about eliminating people deemed powerful enough to pose a threat to the evil organisations plans for world domination, he mentioned Captain America himself, then went on to specify other targets including "a TV anchor in Cairo, the Under Secretary of Defense, a high school valedictorian in Iowa City, Bruce Banner, Stephen Strange, anyone who's a threat to HYDRA. Now, or in the future." "Stephen Strange" is of course the alter-ego of Marvel's most accomplished Earth-based sorcerer, Doctor Strange.
