25 Best Shots In All Of Star Wars

13. The Long Take

Film: Revenge Of The Sith When: Straight after the opening crawl Like every other movie, Revenge Of The Sith opens panning into space from the opening crawl. However, for his final film George Lucas decided to push himself; we open on a Republic Star Destroyer over Coruscant when two Jedi Starfighters fly into shot and, as the camera follows close, skim the surface of the ship before diving into a massive firefight. Even excluding the crawl, the shot still runs for well over a minute, encompassing all manner of space battle angles in the process, and gives the most tangible feeling of the Clone Wars in the movies.
