15. "I'll Do The Fingering" - Alien: Covenant

Michael Fassbender was by far the best thing in Alien: Covenant, and wasn't afraid to get down into the trenches while playing android "brothers" David and Walter.

This culminates in an extremely bizarre sequence where David teaches Walter how to play a flute, placing the flute in Walter's mouth and cheekily insisting, "I'll do the fingering."

The Alien franchise has always revelled in psychosexual subtext and imagery, but this scene was so damn silly that it seemingly left most viewers giggling away like schoolchildren.

In an otherwise unsettling and intriguing scene, it's a sudden, violent record-scratch of absurdity.
