12. Groot & The Severed Toe - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 took the original film's offbeat sense of humour to demented new levels after Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Yondu (Michael Rooker) end up imprisoned on Yondu's ship amid a Ravager mutiny.

In an attempt to escape, the pair enlist the help of a beer-soaked Baby Groot (Vin Diesel), asking him to grab Yondu's prototype fin from the Captain's quarters.

Groot being a baby and, well, Groot, doesn't understand, and instead brings back items such as an alien rodent creature, a Ravager's false eye, a desk, Yondu's soiled underwear, and finally, a severed human toe.

Rocket then begs Yondu to tell him that his ship has a fridge full of human toes, but when he answers in the negative, Rocket insists they never speak of this madness again.
