Plot: Few plot details have been released at this point, but it does involve a boy saving an injured dolphin named Hope. It seems mean to pick on this movie. After all, the first film was mostly well received and had a decent box office intake. It was a harmless, feel-good family film. Still, is anyone really asking for another Dolphin Tale movie? Remember, part of the appeal of Dolphin Tale was that it was made in 3D. It earned just over $95 million worldwide on a $37 million budget, will as many people be clamoring to see this one in 3D too? The cast from Dolphin Tale have all returned for the sequel. This includes Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman, Kris Kristofferson, Nathan Gamble, and Cozi Zuehlsdorff. Also returning is Winter, the dolphin from the first film. The baby dolphin will be played by Hope. Both dolphins reside at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium where the movie takes place. While Dolphin Tale was based on a true story, it'd be hard to see this sequel as being anything more than an advertisement for the Aquarium. Let's hope that's not really the case here. U.S. Release Date: September 19th
