Plot: The sequel will contain four separate stories --- two original stories and two based on the graphic novels (A Dame to Kill For, Just Another Saturday Night). By the time A Dame to Kill For finally comes out, it will have been nine years since the first film was released. I was a senior in high school when Sin City came out. When the trailer for Sin City first came online, I had to view it directly on the film's website. Youtube didn't exist yet! That's how long ago it's been. The good news is that director Robert Rodriguez has put together an amazing cast for the second film: Bruce Willis, Josh Brolin, Powers Boothe, Rosario Dawson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Stacy Keach, Dennis Haysbert, Ray Liotta, Mickey Rourke, Christopher Meloni, Lady Gaga, plus many more. While fans of the first film rejoiced when it was discovered that A Dame to Kill For was finally being made, the release date changed from October 2013 to August 2014. Rodriguez has assured us that there's nothing to worry about, as they had planned a 2014 release date all along, but you have to wonder if Sin City is still in the general public's consciousness. The 2005 film was one of the biggest hits of Robert Rodriguez's career (that's not named Spy Kids), but the constant delays has surely tested a lot of people's patience. Robert Rodriguez's films have been rather uneven since Sin City came out. Can A Dame to Kill For be the film that puts his career back on the right track? U.S. Release Date: August 22nd
