Plot: Currently unknown. Finally, the twenty-fifth sequel of the year and it's a Night at the Museum movie. Surprised? Not really. Excited? Probably not. But Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams, and Ricky Gervais are back along with Shawn Levy, who directed the first two movies. There should be some cause for concern about this third installment. First of all, the second film made considerably less money than the first even though both turned in a hefty profit. Plus, this movie will arrive five and a half years after Battle of the Smithsonian. Can we expect the third film to be just as successful as the first two or will the last Hobbit movie steal all of the attention next Christmas? While the latter is very much a possibility, aside from There and Back Again, there does not seem to be much else competition in December. There's the Annie remake, but that's going against another musical (Into the Woods) which has an all-star cast. Will kids prefer a third Night at the Museum movie over all those other films? It would probably depend on whether or not the concept is interesting enough, but since not much is known about the third film, it's tough to say.
