19. Double-Bladed Rey

Before Rey turned her staff into the ambiguous yellow lightsaber fans saw at the end of The Rise Of Skywalker, she was originally going to craft a double-bladed sword: the first Light Side dual sabre to appear in live action.

In an parallel world, Colin Treverrow's Duel Of The Fates would have used this to, um, parallel The Phantom Menace, the last movie of the Skywalker saga showing Rey wielding the inverse of the infamous lightsaber Darth Maul brandished in Episode I.

Seeing a Light Side user use a double-bladed lightsaber would have been pretty cool, and Rey's use of her staff in The Force Awakens indicated she would have been more than capable of using such a fierce weapon.

Still, the interplay of Luke and Leia's lightsabers in The Rise Of Skywalker gave audiences the iconic passing-a-lightsaber-through-the-Force-scene, and Rey's construction of a yellow weapon was a nice ambiguous way to wrap up the Saga.

Pay close attention to what Rey's wearing, though: an almost identical costume to that Luke wore in Return Of The Jedi.
