Billed As: Essentially, what Edgar Wright did after he lost the Ant-Man job. A heist, getaway driver flick with a finger firmly on the pulse of the genre and so much swagger you'll wish you could bottle it.

Hype: Based at least partly on a music video Wright made before he really struck it big, Baby Driver looks like the kind of jukebox genre addition that fans will be talking about in the same terms as Drive when that opened so many eyes.

The cast - led by Ansel Elgort as getaway driver Baby - is phenomenal, uniting Kevin Spacey as the villain with a ferocious Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Jon Bernthal and Lily James. And inevitably for a film so consciously steeped in music, the soundtrack is going to be as much of a thing of beauty as Wright's love letter to crime movies. He is after all the kind of genre observations.
