2. Spider-Man: Homecoming

Billed As: Spidey's return to the MCU. As if you needed telling.

Hype: After years under Sony's control (not all of which were abusive to the character), Peter Parker is back with his Marvel masters for his first solo foray into the MCU (with Tony Stark bundled in for good measure).

Jon Watts' take on the character sees him sent back to high-school, suffering from post-thrill stress disorder and determined to make it as an Avenger, as well as succeeding at school and protecting New York from an emerging threat. He's set to be a completely different prospect to what we've seen in Spider-Man movies before (aside from the arrogance and the show-boating obviously) and the slickness of the Marvel machine should guarantee a crowd-pleaser.

Michael Keaton's Vulture is also very much the cherry on top of this very enticing sundae.
