25 Predictions For Summer 2016's Rotten Tomatoes Scores

18. Alice Through The Looking Glass (36%)

Predicted Critical Consensus: "Despite some impressive visuals and an undeniably game cast, Alice's latest adventure falls short of the already-underwhelming original with paper-thin characters and plot." The writing has been on the wall for this one for some time: the marketing campaign has been incredibly subdued so far, and principal photography ended over 18 months before the movie releases, which to many will suggest that it's been a troublesome production (though given the movie's array of visual effects, isn't that surprising). With The Muppets' James Bobbin taking over from director Tim Burton, he could easily make some rookie mistakes with his first foray into CGI-heavy adventure fare, and from what we've seen so far, it just looks like more of the same style-over-substance nonsense that came before. Critics will surely be less kind to it this time, so expect a steep drop.
