Predicted Critical Consensus: "While it might not quite satisfy the series' most devout fans, Terminator Genisys is nevertheless an entertaining, bold step forward for the franchise." What's been shown off so far hasn't been pleasing to the hardcore Terminator fans, though as Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (78%) proved, the critics aren't quite so picky as the fanboys, and they'll praise a movie if it's fun and entertaining regardless of how it slots into the franchise. Expect the same with the fifth Terminator movie, which will likely earn most of its positive reviews for the action and for Arnie returning to his career-making part, even if there won't be many reviews rising above the 3-star mark.
