The Infinity Stones have been something of a disappointment in phase two. The Tesseract, which we were introduced to in phase one, was quite underwhelming, given that it really only displayed the abilities to create portals, use concussive energy and - assuming Loki's staff was utilising it and not a different item entirely - mind-control people. But at least it had a bit of versatility. The new Infinity Stones that we've been introduced to in phase two - the Aether and the Orb - have really only displayed the ability to fire concussive energy blasts. Nothing really more versatile than that. Essentially, they all do the same boring thing. What happened to each one granting complete control over one aspect of the universe - space, time, mind, reality, soul and power - like they do in the comics? Oh and it should be GEMS, not stones - a needless change from the comics. So there you have it - 25 things that have been wrong with Marvel Cinematic Universe's phase two so far.
