And finally, the movie ends with Chase visiting Arkham Asylum to meet an incarcerated Edward Nygma, who claims to know the true identity of Batman. Nygma eventually appears out of the corner of his cell, telling Chase, "I'm Batman!", as he flaps his straight-jacket around like a bat and crackles maniacally to himself, clearly having completely lost his mind. It's actually a pretty entertaining way to give the movie one final stinger and do away with The Ridder, but most of all, it's just incredibly weird. Earn that paycheck, Jim!
