23. Mrs. Voorhees Is The Killer? - Friday The 13th
As horror fans were famously reminded in the beginning of Wes Craven's Scream, Jason Voorhees is not the killer in the first Friday The 13th movie. For about 80% of the film youre left guessing as to who is responsible for these string of murders. It's eventually revealed that Jason's mother, Pamela, was the one causing all the chaos.
The disgruntled parent just couldnt stand the fact that a few camp counsellors were making love while her son drowned as a young lad, so she decided to kill a bunch of teens who had nothing to do with it. This is all fine and dandy in theory, but when you really think about, it's somewhat peculiar.
When this elderly lady faces off against the film's final girl, Alice, she's hardly a match at all. In fact, it's hard to imagine Pamela being a match for... anyone, really. How did she pin her victims to walls or fling them into trees? Bizarre.
