If there's any scene that could be cut from the movie without losing anything, it's the totally bizarre and pointless street racing sequence in which Barbara flees Wayne Manor in the middle of the night for an illegal motorcycle race. Dick decides to follow her and ends up racing as well, with the two very nearly dying when their bikes fly off the edge of a bridge due to cheating from other riders. Dick manages to grab hold of Barbara before she falls to her death, and somehow the pair manage to get back to safe ground and avoid another confrontation with their rivals, though the scene cuts away before any of this can be resolved (probably because Schumacher got half-way through filming it and realised how stupid it was). The scene eats up a whole 5 minutes of screen time, and had it been removed, the 125-minute agony that is this movie would seem slightly less painful.
