Not only will Phase Four see the introduction of many new characters, it will also bring to screens the newest super team of the MCU. The Eternals were supposed to make their franchise debut in November 2020, but now won't appear until after the first appearance of Shang-Chi.

The team is made up of a race of ancient aliens created by the Celestials, who have been on Earth for thousands of years, and in the fallout from Thanos, will come together again to protect the planet from the Deviants.

An ensemble cast boasting Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek and Richard Madden will bring to life the titular team. Ajak is the leader of the Eternals, along with Thena, Ikaris, Kingo, Makkari (the MCU's first deaf superhero), Phastos (the first MCU superhero to be depicted as gay), Sprite, Gilgamesh, Druig, and Sersi (the second character that Gemma Chan will portray in the franchise).

With them, the ancient Eternals will bring 7000 years worth of lore, possibly including more information on Celestials like Ego, and potentially even Thanos and the Titans. These characters could change the entire dynamic of the MCU when they arrive in November 2021.
