Finally.
Marvel's first family are one of the most beloved properties when it comes to the comics, but they never been done quite right on the big screen. It's been five years since Fox's awful Fant4stic, and one year since the Disney-Fox merger, and finally there is confirmation that an MCU Fantastic Four movie is in development.
There is currently no news on who will bring the titular team to life, and there is no release date set in stone, but it has been confirmed that Jon Watts will direct once his Spider-Man trilogy is completed.
For a while now, many fans of the MCU have wanted to see John Krasinski and Emily Blunt take on the roles of Reed Richards and Sue Storm, and after his incredibly villainous performances in Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian, Giancarlo Esposito is a favourite to bring the team's greatest ever villain, Doctor Doom to life.
There are rumours circulating that Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben could even be set up as early as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which could potentially see them join the MCU in a post credit scene before leading the way in their own movie.
