Surprisingly enough, the trailers actually gave away the fact that M and C have a fight at the end of the movie. Yes, after the aforementioned expletive exchange, the two slug it out, fighting over a gun which they both struggle to fire, exploding glass both above and around them. Eventually, the glass shower causes C to lose his balance and fall backwards all the way down the new surveillance building, being killed instantly. C was a pretty crappy character, so this was actually rather satisfying, though it would've been a touch cooler if M actually capped him in the head first.
