1. X Files Fans Still Need a Proper Finale
Many X Files fans will tell you they weren't exactly satisfied with the series finale of The X Files. It wasn't exactly designed to give fans closure. Then came The X Files: I Want to Believe. Despite a lot of vocal hatred for the film, I thought it was a fantastic picture. It boiled The X Files down to its true core: the relationship between Mulder and Scully and the question of faith. It was a great X Files fan, but again it was not exactly designed to give fans closure. What The X Files needs is one final film to cap it all off; a film to really deal with the alien invasion (which would have already happened...or would it...). We need the big popcorn flick that we deserve. We need the film that we know Carter and company can pull off. We need closure. We need the finale we've been waiting so long for.
