Imagine a Fantastic Four film where Paul Walker played The Human Torch, Christina Milian played Invisible Woman, James Gandolfini played The Thing and the main villain, Dr. Victor von Doom, was played by none other than Tim Robbins. Not sure how to feel about that? Well, you're not alone. It's true, during the film's casting process Robbins was indeed the frontrunner to play the iconic Marvel villain. The role later went to Julian McMahon and it was probably the worst thing that happened to the film. Not to say that Robbins could have made things any better. In the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot the character is going to be an anti-social programmer and blogger known as "Doom" online. In other words, you're on firm ground if you're not optimistic about the future of this character.
