Let's take it back to where it all started. Yup, 1986's Howard The Duck, the very first film based on a Marvel property. This was a time when George Lucas thought it was a good idea to make a live-action movie about a cigar smoking duck. Needless to say, it wasn't the good idea that he thought it would be. The film has many cringe-worthy scenes throughout but the standout moment goes to Howard nearly having sex with his human lady friend Beverly, played by Lea Thompson. However, this little scene could have just as easily featured another actress - Kim Basinger. Before she played Vicki Vale in Tim Burton's Batman, she was a bird's hair away from making out with an anthropomorphic duck. Basinger was strongly considered for the part but the role eventually went to 80s star Thompson, who probably still regrets it today.
