Before he was cast as Loki, everyone's favorite Marvel supervillain, Tom Hiddleston actually auditioned for the role of Thor. That part obviously went to Chris Hemsworth, but Marvel liked Hiddleston enough to keep him around (and wisely so). Tom was given six weeks to bulk up ahead of his Thor screen test, although his future was already different. The contract he signed before his final audition said that he could be cast as either Loki or Thor. Even though my wig is blonde, Im not sure its going to end up that way, Hiddleston said he remembered thinking during the screen test. It's safe to say that Marvel made the right decision.
