Ting (Tony Jaa), a country bumpkin trained in the deadly art of Thai Muay, travels to Bangkok to retrieve the stolen head of his village Buddha. Once there, his peaceful disposition is challenged by all manner of thugs and lowlifes, including one especially nasty character who assaults him with barroom furniture and appliances. The fight in question has Ting facing off against the very aptly-named Mad Dog (apparently a popular name in these types of films), a non-martial artist who relies not so much on his muscles but his wild, relentless and creative ferocity. Mad Dog comes off like a noble guy at first, walking in with a calm smile against the tense & wary Ting. The canine-esque man even offers a gentlemanly hand to his opponent. Of course its a trap, if a fiendishly simple one. As soon as Ting reluctantly accepts the shake, Mad Dogs other, hidden, beer bottle-wielding hand comes down on Tings head. Bad dog! And from there, Mad Dog might as well have changed his name to the IKEA Warrior as he proceeds to use every bit of furniture he can get his hands on as a weapon - including a freaking refrigerator! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZvqi1aF-iY
