Billed As: Ben Affleck attempts to make corporate accountancy sexy with a side of organised crime and savantism.
Hype: On paper, Gavin O'Connor's film about a mathematician genius with a dark secret and a black book full of nefarious clients is an odd prospect. But O'Connor has flare for hard-hitting drama (let's just forget Jane Got A Gun, since Hollywood did) and Ben Affleck is a legitimate blue chip draw again.
If anyone can make an accountant uncovering discrepancies and hiding from the US Treasury cool, it's probably those guys, and the trailer did hold a lot of promise. Let's hope the move out of the initial January 2016 graveyard slot is a good indication of the studio's confidence in it.
