30 Most Hotly Anticipated Movies Still To Come In 2017 - Ranked

5. Coco

Coco Hector
Disney

Release Date: November 22nd

Billed As:

The latest Pixar, looking at death, family and love. Yeah, you're going to cry, aren't you?

Hype:

For a lot of people, knowing that Pixar are behind Coco will be enough to make it a must-see in November, and even with some more patchy films recently (only by their own hugely high standards), the studio is still an absolute banker for great films.

Coco is Pixar content to an absolute tee: it's the story of a 12-year-old boy who travels accidentally to the Land Of The Dead, seeks his lost musical hero and is charged with returning to the land of the living before time runs out, at the same time seeking his family's blessing to play music - his great love.

Lee Unkrich is directing (he's brilliant), and there's lots of opportunities in there for strong story-telling and bags of emotion. It might not be as great as Book Of Life, but it should sit alongside it beautifully as a companion.
