The intentionally jarring inclusion of Prince on the film's soundtrack was suggested by producer Jon Peters, and it's an element of the movie Burton himself still isn't thrilled about.

Peters has had a decades-long reputation for enforcing bizarre creative choices upon movies, most memorably detailed by Kevin Smith, who wrote Burton's planned Nicolas Cage-starring film Superman Lives.

Peters insisted that the film include a mechanical spider among other things, and when the film died, that idea was recycled into Will Smith's Wild Wild West.

But if being a polite weirdo is one thing, Peters was also recently slammed with sexual harassment claims. Oops.
