27. Michael Jackson Almost Worked On The Soundtrack

Though Prince ended up contributing to Batman's soundtrack, the producers originally extended the offer to none other than Michael Jackson, feeling that the King of Pop would be a perfect fit for the film's love themes.

Unfortunately, Jackson had to turn the offer down due to being on tour at the time, though Prince turned out to be a pretty damn remarkable replacement in his own right.

It's easy to see how Jackson's style could've injected some left-field pep into the film's soundscape, though given recent events, perhaps it's for the best that he didn't have any involvement.
