31 Horror Movies To Watch This October

28. Scare Me

She Dies Tomorrow
Shudder

Scare Me is a uniquely low-fi take on the horror anthology concept, following two strangers (Aya Cash and Josh Ruben) who are trapped together during a power outage, and who pass the time by telling scary stories to one another - stories which begin coming to life.

Since its Sundance premiere earlier this year, Scare Me has been praised for its creativity under minimal resources and the performances of its central cast, spinning a cutesty meta yarn that's more interested in storytelling than anything else.

Perfect for a cosy night in this October, then.

Scare Me is released on Shudder on October 1st.
