31 Horror Movies You Must Watch This October 2022
30. V/H/S/99
Last Halloween, the ailing V/H/S/ found footage anthology franchise was brought surging back with the absurdly entertaining V/H/S/94, and horror streamer Shudder has wasted no time at all in assembling a follow-up, V/H/S/99.
The sequel will take place in the waning days of VHS and feature shorts helmed by the likes of Flying Lotus (Kuso) and Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down).
Though early reviews have been firmly mixed so far, horror anthologies are a bit like pizza - even when they're not great, they're still pretty enjoyable. And so, it's easy to believe that V/H/S/99 will be a giddy fun time even if it doesn't reach the highs of its direct predecessor.
V/H/S/99 releases on Shudder on October 20.
