When Ellie and Ian stumble across a sick Triceratops, Ellie decides that the only way to determine if the poor dino has been eating some toxic vegetation is to sift through its "droppings", much to Malcolm's bemusement. Cut to the next scene and, in true Malcolm style, he lets out the classic one-liner, "That is one big pile of s***", reflecting what pretty much everyone in the audience from a kid to an adult is thinking. It's a rare movie scene revolving around fecal matter that actually isn't especially silly or childish, yet at the same time, it's pretty WTF to see such a gigantic pile of dino crap filling up the frame, because that's totally what everyone sitting down for this film wanted to see, right?
