13. Alan's Sick Electric Fence Gag (Jurassic Park)
Again reinforcing that Alan really isn't all that used to or suited to looking after kids, when he, Lex and Tim reach a possibly electrified fence, Alan can't help but trick his young companions by gripping the fence and pretending that he's being violently electrocuted by 10,000 volts. Tim finds it hilarious while Lex is less than impressed, and though a little levity during a deeply stressful situation is certainly warranted, this is pretty messed up of him, especially considering that in many ways he's the "hero" of the piece. Plus, after Tim gets actually electrocuted and almost dies, Alan rather curtly refers to him as "Big Tim, the human piece of toast".
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
