27. The "Life Finds A Way" Seatbelt (Jurassic Park)
There's a fantastic moment of symbolism early on in Jurassic Park that flies over a lot of people's heads: when the gang are on the helicopter heading to the park, Alan's seatbelt appears to have two identical ends, making him unable to fasten the belt, forcing him to tie the material into a crude knot instead. This is, of course, reflective of the dinosaurs' inability to mate due to all of them being female, and the notion suggested by Malcolm that "life, uh, finds a way". It's one of the franchise's wittiest moments and something that'll blow your mind once you realise or, more likely, have someone point it out to you.
