35 Star Trek Actors Who Died In 2022

27. Estelle Harris

Though her role in Star Trek: Voyager was only small, playing Old Woman in the episode Sacred Ground, Estelle Harris's career was anything but. The appointed Queen Of Commericals owing to appearing in 25 separate advertisements on Madison Avenue in a single year, Harris would become most well-known to audiences of a certain age as the mother of George Constanza on Seinfeld.

However, to those of a different generation, her voice would be even more recognisable, owing to the fact she played Mrs. Potato-Head in the Toy Story franchise. The fourth film, for which she came out of retirement, would in fact be her final film role.

As an actress and comedienne, she would be famed for her exaggerated, shrill voice. She shunned the media attention that her career could have garnered. In 1952, she met the man she would go on to marry, Sy Harris. They would remain together until his death in 2021. They had three sons, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Harris passed away at her home of natural causes at the age of 93.
