20. Animated Spider-Man

It might not have the MCU behind it or Peter Parker as the lead, but Sony's stand-alone animated Spider-Man movie is still one of the most hotly anticipated comic book movies. A lot of that comes down to its focus on Miles Morales - a character who should have been explored on the big screen by now already - and some to Phil Lord and Chris Miller being the scripters.

Animation veteran Bob Persichetti will co-direct with Rise Of The Guardians director Peter Ramsey and Sony are promising that it'll change what animated superhero movies can be, with unprecedented visuals. After Big Hero 6 was such a success, it's a wonder nobody has tried before with such an agenda, but it's a good launch pad for Morales as a character.

Details beyond that are sparse, but just know you'll be continuing your Spidey love with it around Christmas.
