14. The Predator

It is a source of great dismay for most fans of the Predator series that the excellent, under-rated Predators was not deemed a run-away success. Sure, it made money, but it didn't captivate audiences as well as Nimrod Antal's work or the ideas in there deserved. Perhaps that's what happens when you market an action movie on Adrien Brody?

Luckily, it didn't kill the franchise, and we are now getting an interquel, set before it and after Predator 2, from the genius genre mind of Shane Black. It hasn't been confirmed, but expect it to be set at Christmas.

Black's film will focus on a team of Predator hunters, led by Boyd Holbrook and featuring Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay, Thomas Jane and Game Of Thrones' Alfie Allen. All dead meat, probably, but you can definitely count on Black to write them out brilliantly.
