After Talladega Nights and the incomparable Step Brothers, traditional straight man John C Reilly and Will Ferrell were propelled to the top of the list of comedy duos in Hollywood. Since then, they've done little of note together and now they're the latest team to be tackling the Sherlock Holmes story.

Ignoring how well Benedict Cumberbatch, Robert Downey Jr and Johnny Lee Miller have got that market cornered, the pair are teaming up with Get Hard director Etan Cohen and Judd Apatow for a more comedic slant on the tale. You can expect buffoonery and terrible accents (though the British cast includes some great choices in Rob Brydon, Kelly MacDonald and Ralph Fiennes as Moriarty).
