5 Awesome 80s Movie Crossovers That Should Have Happened

1. Ghostbusters (1984)/Beetlejuice (1988)

ghostbustersbeetlejuice The Ghostbusters Vs The Bio-Exorcist! How cool would this be?! The way I envisage this panning out is that Ray (Dan Aykroyd) hears about the legend of Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) and decides to do his research. He discovers that by saying his name three times, he will appear. Ray being Ray, he gives in and tries it, thus bringing Beetlejuice to New York City (because it's always Ray's fault). The resulting banter - particularly between Beetlejuice and Venkman (Bill Murray) - would have been hilarious and the havoc that the former could have caused in an area as vastly populated as New York is limitless. I can also see Beetlejuice putting the moves on Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver) and Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) wanting to carry out experiments on Beetlejuice, both with hilarious consequences. And the ending could be similar to the Beetlejuice movie, but instead of being banished to the netherworld, Beetlejuice finds himself floating around in the Ghostbuster's containment unit.
