5 Characters That Need To Be In Guillermo del Toro's DC Team-Up Film

3. Deadman

Guillermo has actually been actively pursuing a stand-alone Deadman film for quite some time now, so if Boston Brand doesn't show up in Heaven Sent, I'd be shocked to say the least. After being murdered, Brand was given the choice to remain as a spirit so he could nab his killer. After exacting revenge, he remained in spectral form to help the living. He has the oh-so-hilarious ability to possess people for short periods of time, often to hilarious results. And that's the main component that makes him so integral to the team: humor. Deadman is always joking around and taking things maybe a little less seriously than he should because hey, he's already dead! What's the worst that could happen? If the few humorous bits present in del Toro's Hellboy films are any indication, Deadman would probably become the most talked about and beloved of the entire magical line-up, simply because he'd be the go-to for a good chuckle.
