5 Greatest Inanimate Objects On Film

3. The Photocopier from Office Space

It sits in the office all smug, thinking it's ten men. Well it isn't. It's just a load of wires and mechanisms covered in plastic and if it tells us there's a paper jam one more time when there isn't a bloody paper jam we're going to take it out in to the middle of nowhere, put on some hip hop music and smash the sh*t out of it. That's exactly what happens to the arrogant Photocopier (Xerox machine) in Mike Judge's 1999 comedy Office Space, starring Ron Livingston. For much of the film the copier has the upper hand, but man does it meet a grisly end by act 3. Who hasn't imagined doing the same to a piece of office equipment? We all hate it when technology thinks it knows what we want before even we do, right? And when it refuses to do the job it's been assigned then it's just the final straw. You have 2 choices. Destroy it or elect it into Government.
