5 Major Reveals From The First Captain America: Civil War Promo Art

3. Meet Redwing

There had been rumours that The Falcon would get Redwing in Captain America: Civil War, and those reports were confirmed in the impressive sounding footage shown off at Disney's D23 Expo. An actual falcon in the comic books, Redwing is getting a technological makeover in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though the biggest surprise here has to be that the drone still resembles a bird. While that's something which makes a lot of sense, no one would have blamed Marvel for not going down that route given how silly it could come across in live-action, but "Redwing" looks great here. That D23 sizzle reel apparently saw Sam Wilson using Redwing to scout ahead, and the drone being so prominently featured in this artwork has to be an indication that it's going to end up playing a key role in Captain America: Civil War. Of course, the fact it's a piece of technology used to spy on people could prove to be a major advantage for Tony Stark. I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised to see him hack Redwing in order to find out what Steve and company are up to if his team ends up going on the run like in the comics. Regardless, it's very cool that The Falcon and Redwing are paired up here, and that's a piece of imagery I expect to see used in all of this movie's promotional and marketing material.
