1. Dante & Becky (Clerks 2)
Rosario Dawson is smoking hot. She's exotic, funny, smart, beautiful and is - generally speaking - one amazing woman. Unlike a lot of Hollywood's gals, she's able to downplay her beauty somewhat and play any role convincingly, as witnessed by her turn as Becky in Clerks 2 - you look at Becky and think "She's one hot geek" but never think "She's too hot to be a convincing geek." By some small miracle, she falls in love with former store clerk and current Mooby's assistant Dante Hicks, giving life to that famous Randal quote I mentioned at the beginning of this feature. I can't think of a single example of a time in which a leading male and female were so poorly matched romantically, physically or emotionally, and yet this works. Maybe it's because Dawson's Becky is so believably nice as a character that we can buy the idea that she might fall in love with a guy like Dante, despite the fact that he's about 40 and is a complete loser. Don't get us wrong - there aren't many alternatives for Becky to fall for in the Clerks 2 Universe, but it's just so hard to imagine these two ever getting together in the real world. It'll certainly be interesting to see if they're still together when Clerks 3 rolls around.
