5 Movies You'll Complain About But End Up Watching Anyway (And 5 You Shouldn't)

1. Star Wars Episode VII

What has not been said about Star Wars than what has already been slathered onto every public exhibition of the prequel trilogy? "It was a disgrace€”it ruined the legacy€”I pretend the prequels don't exist€”George Lucas is the worst thing to happen to Star Wars." Everyone prayed and prayed that the torment of the prequels would end as they witnessed Darth Vader turned into a teenage drama antic. Hardcore Star Wars "fans" will argue until the sun explodes into pieces that they hate Episodes I through III and wish that the franchise was just left alone. Then there came Disney! Oh boy, that was great. Even though Disney has created numerous classics one after another, redefining cinema in their own way over and over again, people flipped their lids when it was announced Disney bought out Lucas Films. Despite Disney being responsible for the greatest stock of visual entertainment story telling imaginable, that has only pulled crowd after crowd of fans wanting to see their products (whether you agree with me or not, their history and legacy says it all), the lonely virgins who haven't known a woman other than their mother wailed until glass splintered about the atrocity Disney would eventually due to Star Wars in spite of absolute no reason to believe this other than the DVD collection of every Disney film on their shelf. Everything from the paranoid belief that High School Musical stars taking the lead roles to pixie dust spitting from lightsabers, bloggers have complained and ignored the simple fact that Disney only wants the profits and not the creative power. If anything Disney granted us more of the sweat chocolate of Star Wars movies that we would have viscously grabbed if offered, no matter which studio was producing, in what would have been the reality of no more Star Wars films unless Disney bought it. Say what you will, hate what you are going to hate, but you know you dreamed of this. You begged for more Star Wars. Only a fool would say "no more" to additional Star Wars goodness. Whether it was Disney or anyone else, we will watch every new Star Wars film coming our way. And with the potential cast and crew attached so far, only an impossible to please individual with no friends would have to hate this.
