2. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
This Disney juggernaut epitomizes the very nature of web-wide collaboration of grumbling and protest so loud that it drowns out the very cannons that make up the action scenes of this guaranteed financial hit. No one can deny the critical success of the first Pirates back in 2003 but as soon as the second and third found its way onto dry land, many of those who live on the inter-web found themselves panning the franchise for everything it had. Ranging from comments of "too much" to "milking a dead cow", people asked for more and when they got it they decided to cry about it anyway. Then when asking for even more, people figured after collectively nearly giving the film a billion dollars that they should complain about it some more. So even though communities the world over worship the adventures and personality of Captain Jack Sparrow, a large group of a few are making it loud and clear that Pirates of the Caribbean should have ended after the first, or at the very least with the third film. But nothing stopped everyone from jumping on board for seeing the fourth and they will inevitably do the same for the fifth. Given that Pirates 5 has just been pushed back to maybe a full year, this will give haters more time to not-so poetically type out their thoughts at any chance they are given to plague the hype for the fifth installment for the franchise. Which in 2016 will just be a joke on them as it only gives those people more time to complain about how Pirates is a long dead series even though they are contributing to keeping it alive. Admit it, they can make another seven Pirates of the Caribbean films, and no matter what you say, you're going to want to watch them.
