The series scored big in casting Ron Perlman as its lead, as the actor exudes charm on and off-screen. He brought the character to life perfectly and it'd be shame for such a great character/actor pairing to not be given one last time to shine. Beyond Hellboy, characters like Doug Jones' Abe Sapien, Selma Blair's Liz Sherman, Jeffrey Tambor's Tom Manning and Seth MacFarlane's Johann Krauss have supported and flavored his journey across the two films, all bringing something different to the table that makes watching the series and Hellboy's interactions with them so fun to watch. Together, they're a unique, oddball team that surely could've continued carrying the franchise. With the group having all resigned from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense by the end of The Golden Army, fans undoubtedly want to know what's become of them all and see what could bring this unusual band back together again.
