4. Round Out The Trilogy
I already mentioned it was a miracle that the first Machete got made. It was a movie that starred a character actor in a leading role and the potential came from a fake trailer attached to a double feature that didn't exactly light up the box office. Still, Rodriquez and his crew charged on and gave us the first Machete which really only found modest success. Despite this, we still got a sequel in theaters this year and it starred everyone from Lady Gaga to Mel Gibson! Pure will power, love of genre films and hard work have put the first two Machete films in theaters. This is on the part of the filmmakers and the fans. If they've come this far then it's almost required that the third Machete be made and released. After pushing the boulder up the hill and having two Machete films exist, it's time for fans and the team behind the franchise to give their hard work the proper love letter and send off with a final Machete adventure. Everybody involved on both sides of the film world deserve it.
