5 Reasons Quentin Tarantino Appeals To Everyone

2. Cameos

This is aimed closer to the cinephiles reading this, but who can forget Jimmie, Mr Brown and the terribly accented Australian fellow in the excellent Django Unchained? That's what I thought. Despite his frequently criticised acting skills, he knows how to make an entrance. After all, which of us didn't smile in Django Unchained when he appeared on-screen? Or tell me you didn't laugh at his turn as Jimmie in Pulp Fiction, and his perfectly sardonic delivery of "Because Bonnie buys sh*&". And that's just the tip of the iceberg. He was a supporting character in From Dusk Till Dawn, for which he won some much deserved Razzies, despite his elevation of the film solely with his ridiculous performance; after all, it was a B movie, and he wasn't looking for an Oscar. Planet Terror, another Robert Rodriguez flick, had him appear as the memorable soldier who was unfortunate enough to lose his genitals to a zombie virus. Yeah. Not pretty.
