5 Reasons Why Star Trek: Insurrection Isn’t That Bad

3. Jerry Goldsmith Score

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vq-ADMHe88g The late, great Jerry Goldsmith scored the music to this, along with 1, 5, 8 and 10. The score is superb, gently flowing with the village scenes at the start before moving to more ominous dark themes when showing the Federation spying on them, similar to the music used in The Undiscovered Country. The space battles, specifically the Riker maneuverer, are equally grand in scope. Not much else to be said other than have a listen to some of the music yourself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5wrbx07rOE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJ2pGzLlbWg As a side note Nemesis, which had a score better than the film itself, was one of his very last films. If you're interested in his works have a little look on wiki or IMDB, his filmography is very impressive.

DradusContact misspelt 'Dradus' in his haste to snag the Battlestar Galactica themed gamertag on xbox in 2006 live and has spent every day since regretting it. He has come to far to go back now. Sci-Fi fan with a model collection so massive it can be seen from space, which coincidentally is the one thing i am running short of. I have far less time to watch films and play games than I would like so consequently any film that's less than excellent is a failure to me. You can follow me @DradusContact
