5 Reasons To Be Excited For The Amazing Spider-Man 2

1. Meet the Osborns €many people are theorizing that that mysterious figure is Norman Osborn, corporate magnate and founder of Oscorp. Oh, and Spidey's biggest, baddest, most notorious villain, the Green Goblin. Many of you will remember Willem Dafoe's magnificent performance from 2002's Spider-Man. Hopefully whoever the torch is passed to can create a goblin just as vicious, insane, and purely evil. Not to mention everything I've mentioned in this article ties to it: the spoiler about Gwen, the fact that Richard Parker was working on cross-species genetics under the apparently dying Norman Osborn, and that Norman's son Harry would probably attend the same high school as Peter. In the comics and the 2002 movie Harry Osborn is Peter Parker's closest friend. All of this changes when Harry discovers his dad's identity and when Spider-man kills Norman, Harry becomes the new Green Goblin. The New Goblin persona in Spider-Man 3 was just James Franco in goofy goggles, but hopefully if Harry is introduced in the sequel then he can come back with a vengeance in the third movie. Or perhaps as the Hobgoblin?
