5 Reasons You Should Obviously Watch Daredevil Before Batman V Superman

1. A Thirteen Hour Movie Trumps A Two Hour One

While both Daredevil and Jessica Jones were episodic in nature, you could have just as easily sat there for thirteen hours and watched them as a really massive movie. In recent years, television has become the preferred method of storytelling for many filmmakers, and that's evident from the kind of critical acclaim shows like these and Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, True Detective, and The Walking Dead have received. As movies, those might have all worked, but as TV shows, they're on another level of quality altogether. So, why choose a two hour movie which looks like it's cramming way too many characters and stories in for its own good over an adaptation which has the chance to tell its story at a much more relaxed and in-depth pace? It's sort of like the difference between reading a great graphic novel and one good monthly comic. Another obvious advantage Daredevil has over Batman v Superman is that there's just so much more of it! Roughly thirteen hours of The Man Without Fear's adventures have to be more fun that seeing Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, and countless other supporting characters all thrown in together in the hope that it will result in something satisfying, but with Daredevil, you know you're getting that.
